while i wasn't able to reach the entire plot like i wanted to, i think i managed to set up the interactions which are the main part of the game, so at least i had that. i hope qiong's personality was conveyed properly. i learned a lot abt visual novels tbh and im glad i made this #smallgamestudio

im unsure why its like that, i kept everything to match the aspect ratio, but i'm hoping people play in fullscreen. It's labeled as in development but this IS my final build and people can play it properly if they download it. i wish i couldve figured out quit and restart #smallgamestudio

#smallgamestudio I'm going to do my best to start the parsing code and such, i made it so i only published the first half of the plot since the rest is more forks that i couldnt figure out (choice of prev choice affecting future paths) but i think that's enough for the beta

#smallgamestudio Last time with adventure I wrote it all in the code from the get go since they were little blurbs, but this time i guess i should make an actual script. Maybe on google docs. I hope to have at least one path finished or something....I need to watch the videos too

#smallgamestudio The base mechanics is just making sure it can go from one text to another, since it is text based first and foremost. the most worrying part is figuring out how to put the sprites and how to trigger them

#smallgamestudio I tried to look at unity tutorials to see how other people were doing their VNs, but there's a lot of complex coding of things we didn't learn yet, and i think it's better if i stick with things i know for now

My brain is going to explode because i cant figure out how to spawn more balls before the game breaks. Even the saucer tutorial isnt helping because the ball just stops moving

Yeah ill build off 3.1 to just keep spawning balls to represent how brain fog feels or juggling responsibilities thank god this one is abstract #smallgamestudio just need to multiple the balls and spawn every few seconds

#smallgamestudioarcade3 I am not the best at deciphering abstract game. i played the passage, which i think the guy meets a girl and they go through life together. the controls dont allow you to go diagonally, only up down left right one at a time. The maker said if i dont get it keep playing
