If anyone can arrange an introduction, I would be happy to meet Mr. King. My kids attended Texas public schools and now my grandkids do. I’m also on the board of my local Christian church. I sincerely believe that forcing kids to read the 10 commandments violates the “Love your neighbor” one.
Texas Sen. Phil King, who authored a bill to require the Ten Commandments in public classrooms, says he’s “never met” a Christian or Muslim parent who wouldn’t want their child to read the 10 Commandments in school every day.
