The thing is he got fired for losing a pile of Harvard money through his protégé Andrei Shleifer on Russia stuff. The blatant sexism was just convenient windowdressing. He knows that, which makes the self-denial even funnier.

Yes! This record made its way into my DC suburbs life in 1991. Changed my life trajectory. And every once in a while you hear the hook to Waiting Room as interstitial music on NPR's marketplace. And the I realize I am just a core demographic.
