A lot of folks seem confused by the David Brooks article. As a lifelong Republican let me explain. The constitution is sacrosanct. We truly believe in the ideals of this country. Trump is destroying every element of what makes America great. We cannot let this stand. See you Saturday to protest.

Trump will issue a pardon and this will mean nothing, unfortunately. Honestly, civil contempt would have had more teeth as you can’t pardon that.

Just a reminder. These are not reciprocal tariffs. The percentages Trump listed aren’t actual Tariffs on the US. He basically just made up percentages with magic math and then applied them to everyone, including an island with just penguins. So call them #penguintariffs.
