How sad this has become so polarized. Because there are five Republicans on the council, DEI was dumped. Several candidates I supported because I hoped they would stop Scottsdale from being overdeveloped. Not decisions like this. So disappointing. 😔

#Scottsdale, AZ #CityCouncil just got rid of their #DEI policy. It's an embarrassment and a black eye on Scottsdale. Countless citizens spoke at the podium opposing deleting the program. Five Republican Councilmembers dumped it anyway. 😔
