If I’m remembering correctly there was a fight over PHYSICAL release times because of this exact issue.
6-9 months was fought for, it should’ve been kept that way.
There’s no reason a film specifically shot for an imax screen cannot be seen on an imax screen because it’s no longer available???

“Wicked” and “Gladiator 2” are both now streaming. 4 weeks after release. $40-$60 for three people to see a film vs $20 at home. Almost no incentive to go to the theater anymore.
Got to go back to 6-9 months between the big screen and small.
