Was starting to get really worried about my bergamot tree — its mature leaves went from healthy to not-so-hot over the winter and for a while at the start of spring all its new growth was getting munched by something! Luckily it’s still in a pot, so I moved it and it’s bouncing back! #gardensky

One day, I will provide to the street loquat economy with fruit overhanging the sidewalk that makes people go “yeah, that seems like fair game” and the karma cycle will be complete. #gardening

Crossing guard report: this bit of wire has been here for well over a month now. The first time I saw it, I kicked it over to the base of a streetlight and it’s been there ever since, now worse for the wear from rain. Detritus from trees seems to get swept away periodically, but not this guy
