Meanwhile, Will Stancil "regretfully" informs one of the trolls he calls Nazis that their song about him is "a banger".

I see I have been #BlockedForTruth. I was quoting British music critic, podcaster, and author of a book about Orwell's 1984 Dorian Lynskey (@dorianlynskey.bsky.social): "The phrase 'NATO expansion' is a red flag for me". #YouCanBlockButYaCantHide

...though it's possible he blocked me for being too good at quoting him.

Wrong!

Went back to the profile's feed I was looking at, and scrolled down literally 4 blueskeets before I hit this. I don't mention this to put PM or anyone on blast, but to illustrate how wantonly even left-leaning writers throw around "crazy" & "insane". Tough not to see it when one knows to notice it.

While I reviewed the video to quote it, YouTube kept interrupting it with ads pushing AI. Including an ad featuring Tony Robbins, who's been repeatedly accused of sexual harassment and assault...including kissing & groping a minor.

Good to know. Were you aware of that when you helped to amplify @captivedreamer7's squid-ink pretense at being someone else called "Sebastien Franks"?

I propose that it is _not_ fine to work for Blackwater if they assign you to a "diplomatic security" detail.

Imagine going from

to

You Can't Easily Dismiss The View That Graham Platner And His Totenkopf Tattoo Are Necessary Allies Against The Fascist Party

in the space of two minutes. Literally side-by-side posts. Good grief.

Politicians in general don't write up their platforms as university text books, because that's not what text books are for.

Anyway, Ed Miliband, the guy whose platform was so deep it...er...fitted on one stone tablet.

I immediately noticed that the same survey asked about a bunch of other Democrats and they all had way fewer "Haven't heard enough to say" responses than Zohran Mamdani.

Which a bigger Vote Blue No Matter Who ("anarchist") account uses as a cue to wag a finger at "the left".

Thus Bluesky spins a myth about AAA-video-game pricing into left-punching.
October 24, 2025 at 8:19 AM
One of the bigger lib accounts takes that as a cue to lecture no one in particular that "You don’t think video games should cost $100? Don’t buy the videogame. Buying Things Is Optional.".

Uh, yeah, they're already doing that. That's why they cost 25% _less_ than $100.
October 24, 2025 at 8:14 AM
It starts with a Foreign Policy editor sermonizing about how much AAA video games (an inessential entertainment good) ought to cost, bemoaning "whiny babies" allegedly keeping them "literally at the same price for *two decades*", which is false: typical AAA game prices went from $50 to $70/$80.

Dunno about friends, but he certainly seemed to appreciate TAO's publicity for an adaptation of [checks notes] The Merchant of Venice.
