Consistency of Blood Pressure Response to Potassium-Enriched Salt in the China Salt Substitute Study | Hypertension
BACKGROUND: Large between-person differences in blood pressure (BP) responses to sodium reduction, potassium supplementation, and potassium-enriched salt have been suggested by prior studies. However,...

The new AHA/ACC BP guidelines recommend against cuffless devices, but I learned one company is in over 150 health systems. Renal denervation may be a significant driver of the cuffless ABPM market with the new Medicare coverage checklist:

I feel like I am increasingly in two zoom meetings at once...I found a way to arrange my headphones to listen to both, but I do find it difficult to focus on content at the same time (impossible to contribute simultaneously).

Any tips out there?

Important paper addresses how frequently should home BP monitoring be performed. They concluded every 12-months...I'm kind of a 6-month person myself if people are stable (aligned with semiannual monitoring), but monthly when titrating...thoughts?

Another vitamin D trial in AKI this time, and it still does not do much 😏
#Medsky🧪 #Immunosky #nephsky #publichealth the study found that treatment with either calcifediol or calcitriol did not significantly reduce #acutekidneyinjury (AKI) in critically ill adults, despite the activated forms of vitamin D upregulating relevant gene pathways.
