For the past few months, Pete Fry has been very lukewarm about running for Mayor of Vancouver.
But at the UBCM conference, he’s seemed much more open to the idea, and supporters in other municipalities are talking him up to me.

I've marvelled at the resilience of Grace Lore and her family ever since I did this story about her son Asher's brain tumour in 2021, and how she navigated that health emergency with her new MLA duties.

The BC Greens, which are currently in negotiations to prop up the BC NDP government to help it retain power more comfortably, are also fundraising on the idea that the NDP could turn on them and call a snap election at any moment.
