Had a client come in at work who needed stickers for his company and wanted me to stop what I was doing to sit next to me and awkwardly micromanage the entire design process for 2 hours.

I probably wouldn't put on Brain Damage (1988) for a night with friends, some movies are just better digested alone. But gosh it's a good one if you love uncomfortable psychological shlock. It's like a delightful low budget grunge version of Naked Lunch, came out just three years earlier too.

I was one mummy short of the complete cereal mascot lineup this halloween season.
It's me dressed as a vampire, with shades and a red leather coat, looking like an extra in the club scene from Blade. It's me dressed as a Frankenstein. "The doctor or the monster?" You ask. It's both, I got the stitches and the lab coat. It's me dressed as a werewolf with a leather vest. I have to tell you this because the ears I'm wearing look more like cat ears.

Highway To Hell (1992) is a pretty fun movie if you can get over the disapointment that "hell" is just scenic shots of the Arizona desert, but the opening is good enough to hook you. The production team definitely had fun with their tiny budget and Gilbert Gottfried is there for some reason.
A demonic cop with sunglasses bolted to his face and pentagram insignias aims a gun that is just about one percent more futuristic than a regular revolver. A diner full if spooky looking customers covered in dust and cobwebs. A stop-motion cerberus that looks like all three of it's faces got stung by bees.

Took a chance on Freejack (1992) yesterday. It's mostly an unoriginal scifi thriller made watchable by a charming performance by Mick Jagger in a snazzy leather coat and some totally off-the-wall future car designs. Very much feels like a displaced 70s film.
