Some good news for once, I’m happy to report that I just left the MVA & an ID with my proper name & GENDER is on its way to me! Thanks to MD for still allowing people to self-select their gender. Also thank you to Trans Maryland & Metro DSA for their help with the name change 😻 #transjoy #maryland

I am proud to state that the Maryland court has approved my name and gender marker changes! They were even nice enough to tell me that I will be unable to change my gender marker on my SS card because of the new Executive Orders. So thank you to MD for being a sanctuary state. 🏳️⚧️ #transjoy #maryland

Just me over here trying not to fall into despair because it’s too late for me to escape the country now. Just a US citizen over here unable to attain a passport to leave the only country I’ve ever lived in because my gender was erased from the country database 🤷♂️🏳️⚧️

I was at a punk show in 83 where a skinhead jumped up on stage and gave a Nazi salute.
The bass player hit him with his bass, knocking him into the crowd and 150 people collectively hauled his ass out of the venue and threw him in the mud.

We’re less than a month in to this administration & I’m already having to avoid the news for self care even though I should be monitoring it for my own safety. I don’t really even have words anymore. The fight in me is dying & at this point I’m just waiting to be put in a camp merely for existing 🤷♂️

Living in America in 2025 as a transman. I had an upper endoscopy today and have 4 ulcers. I’m horrified I’ll have to pay out of pocket because 🍊cut Medicaid. Also I’m a natural born US citizen, a white American with no record and I can’t leave the country, but I’m upset I’m not motivated to work.

I just booked Dance Exchange for Fridays in March! March 7th is Intro to Flow Arts: Which Prop is For You? The next week I will begin a new Dance & Flow Boot(y) Camp. Three weeks of learning proper stretching and exercises to prevent injury, build flexibility, and improve as a dancer/flow artist 😻

Things I've done for myself recently, connected with Trans Maryland to do my name & gender change, helped raise nearly $1000 for HIPS, got gender affirming items at a clothing swap, made new friends at a book swap, enrolled in a TEFL certification program & attended a healing from breakup workshop.

To all the people that said I was exaggerating (again) about Trump Part 2, go fuck yourself. The trans community is literally a public scapegoat right now. I am now afraid for my own personal health and safety and was blamed for this outcome because I also didn't support Harris.

Santa deed of the day, brought some hand warmers with me on my errands. Didn’t see the unhoused couple and their kitty, but the outdoor workers were glad. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and all the winter joy. The days will continue to get longer from here 😻

Exhausted from the constant struggle and isolation of poverty. Every month despite my efforts there’s never enough income. Food and expenses continue to increase and there is no money left over to pour back into my business or participate in my communities. Expendable income is no longer a thing.
