I had a peanut on my dashboard while parked near the beach.

Someone not-a-chickadee sure is eyeing the chickadee feeder.

Adventure kitty and doggo!

I had the most delightful company on my nature walk along the Salmon River 🤍

Not pictured: Chad, another kitty, another doggo, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, a pig, and a sugar glider

Same goes for Port of Seattle.

Goodbye resources.

I am so so so heartbroken and depressed. Being alive is really hard.

If you get the chance to visit Gleneden Beach, the Side Door Cafe is worth a visit!

My favorite meal on the Central Oregon Coast is their roasted vegetable risotto in a tomato saffron broth with local hazelnuts 🤍

Small business, fresh food!

We had some out-of-town medical appointments and paired them with an adventure!

Upper North Falls has a 65-foot plummet 🤍

We’ve planted our combination cherry tree from Raintree Nursery and look forward to Rainier, Hudson, Nugent (NY518), & Lapin cherries in 2-3 years!

Although we love sharing with the deer, we don’t want them to hurt the baby tree, so it’s surrounded with tomato cages left over from the Midwest!

The Oregon Coast is full of beautiful surprises. This is the second red-belted conk ballerina I’ve encountered while walking in the forest!

Decisions, decisions.

Try telling Joseph that comparison is the thief of joy (and peanuts), and they'll tell you to keep your human maxims to yourself! 😆

Guess who’s planting a fruit garden next week!? 🥳

As a disabled person, I can only do a very little at a time, have slowly been preparing for weeks, and have a lot more to do, but I’m DOING it and I’m so excited!

Hooray for homegrown healthy snacks to which I’m not allergic!

This past week I got my first CPR request through PulsePoint. Luckily I was already wearing pants, so I flew out the house and beat 911 to the scene.

This app is impressive. It helped me arrive quickly, had CPR reminders, and checked on my post-incident mental health. I wish all communities had it.

Diver Juan Heredia is the best of the best. He selflessly left his family vacation in Mexico to come help find Dane.

And he did.

Thank you, sir, for bringing him home. We are forever grateful. Now the healing can begin.
