Sunflower is going to be DNA tested! Just swabbed her mouth (easier than I thought) and popped the test in the outgoing mail. I can’t wait to see what she tests as. Mister X Ray Speckles (pictured below) has more Ragdoll than anything else. #cats #catDNA #catDNAtest #basepaws

My kids love their hexagons, except Ray is a Big Boi and shakes the wall when he leaps. I’m glad the wall where the hexagons are installed adjoins my room and not a neighbor’s, or I’d be getting indignant calls and texts. #cats #catshavingfun #largecats #calicocats

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.
Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

So yesterday I took a broom and swept a whole PILE of those cat spring toys and some little batty balls from between the refrigerator and the counter. The culprit is almost 11 months old and is a calico:
