Wind Waker style stencil buffer torches are done! I'm gonna share this on GitHub soon. This should also do shadows and layered/nested spheres as well. Not sure whether it's worth making a full video explaining it yet... #gamedev #godotengine #vfx

Back after a bit. My main computer's GPU fan died, finally got a replacement for it.

I never got to finish my "Default Cube: The Game" video, hopefully can resume working on that this week.

I feel bad that I haven't been writing for a bit. I've been having the problem of so many coding projects, that all the actually creative stuff gets lost. I'm hoping that I can intentionally mitigate some of that stuff around the holidays.

Testing Light Painter for the Blender 5.0 update. Only had one bug: new sky textures changed, including removal of Nishita sky texture (at least the name).

But it got me to appreciate new sky textures. Stunning. #b3d

This is for Blender add-on devs: the Action API that was deprecated in Blender 4.4 has been removed in 5.0.

Using action.fcurves / .groups / .id_root will NOT work in 5.0!

🖥️ This is probably one of the biggest features coming to Blender 5.0 - in my opinion, Sequencer to Compositor nodes as a modifier - this is Davinci workflows built in! A hot requested idea for nearly a decade now! Already in the main trunk!
