It occurred to me the GOP is turning the country into a red state: low wages, less education; low tax for the rich, high fees for the poor; shitty infrastructure, no labor unions, no family planning, healthcare as a luxury, debt slavery, racial and religious bigotry, all of it.

I saw the VP posted a video of Trump crowning himself, donning a cape, and drawing a sword while congress kneels and bows their heads to him. Anyone who hasn’t realized who these people are and what they’re after still has time to wake up and help save this country. But not long.

The numbers are out and manufacturing in America has shrunk for seven months in a row. So we can stack that on the mountain of evidence that DC Republicans have no clue how to run an economy. These should not be hard times, there's no reason for it.

Last year, under a Democratic administration, US farmers sold 18 billion dollars worth of soybeans to China. That was under Biden’s policies.

I see the Republican president is bragging about all the 24 karat gold he put in the Oval Office. This is on the same day that analysts predicted that health insurance rates on the marketplace are predicted to triple.

If anyone thinks Trump can be appeased, let me tell you something. ABC tried to appease him by settling a frivolous $16 million lawsuit that had no chance in court. Trump used this as proof that ABC engages in hate speech against him and threatened to “go after” their reporters.

The Republican vice president wrote something that I believe all Americans need to hear. He wrote that preserving Medicaid for millions of Americans, and avoiding trillions of dollars in debt to be paid by our kids and grandkids, is “immaterial, compared to the ICE money.”

I heard Senator Warnock speaking on this spending bill the DC Republicans are trying to pass — he said something very insightful: that it shows who matters and who doesn’t in Trump’s America.
When I see our elders, in wheelchairs, tied up like criminals for protesting the government theft of their health benefits, which they have paid over decades of labor, yes I’m saddened, and angry.

Trump’s illegal military actions have no stated goals, strategy, nor exit plan. We’ve seen this movie before, and it ends horribly for us every time — Americans dead and wounded, trillions of dollars wasted, higher debt and taxes, and the Middle East even worse off than before.

No matter what you think about Iran, or about any other country, it is a violation of our law, a violation of the American Constitution, for the Republican President to commit this country to military action overseas. Only Congress has the power to declare war.

This weekend, a few thousand people showed up to watch a military parade staged for an authoritarian President while millions turned out to say “no, America will not follow this regime into fascism.”
