You ask young people living and working in America how their lives stack up against folks they know living in other industrial democracies around the world, and they’re angry as hell about the con job that’s being perpetrated on them right now. What can we do about it? 🧵
Real Americans won’t stand for corruption, exploitation, or the sellout of our farmers and workers. While Trump’s approval plummets and foreign deals threaten American livelihoods, No Kings rallies show us that hope is rising in the streets.

Right now I’m hearing a lot of Republicans say ‘I didn’t vote for this’. Well, yeah you did.

Don Trump has illegally fired another inspector general without congressional approval. This time it’s the IG overseeing the import-export bank.

Destruction of federal property is a felony, with a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.

Just putting that out there.

It occurred to me the GOP is turning the country into a red state: low wages, less education; low tax for the rich, high fees for the poor; shitty infrastructure, no labor unions, no family planning, healthcare as a luxury, debt slavery, racial and religious bigotry, all of it.

I saw the VP posted a video of Trump crowning himself, donning a cape, and drawing a sword while congress kneels and bows their heads to him. Anyone who hasn’t realized who these people are and what they’re after still has time to wake up and help save this country. But not long.

So Trump’s Treasury secretary just said, and I quote, “No kings equal no paychecks.” That’s right — the attitude of the DC Republicans is, either Trump gets imperial powers or nobody gets paid. How evil is that?

Ten Commandments for Loyal Americans
1. Thou shalt not shop at fascist-owned stores.
2. Thou shalt socially ostracize all fascists.
3. Thou shalt give no aid or comfort, no matter how small, to illegal occupiers.
4. Thou shalt protect anyone chased by ICE.

Democracy depends on truth. We must challenging this administration’s lies through peaceful protests, one of our greatest tools for change.

I see Trump wants to bail out American farmers. But they wouldn’t need a bailout if not for Trump and Republican policies.
October 9, 2025 at 1:33 PM
The numbers are out and manufacturing in America has shrunk for seven months in a row. So we can stack that on the mountain of evidence that DC Republicans have no clue how to run an economy. These should not be hard times, there's no reason for it.

Last year, under a Democratic administration, US farmers sold 18 billion dollars worth of soybeans to China. That was under Biden’s policies.

I just saw a couple of reports that tell me everything I need to know about Republican policy.

So Forbes has reported that in 2025 Donald Trump doubled his personal wealth. And I want to ask: Have you doubled your wealth this year? Has anybody you know doubled their wealth?
September 30, 2025 at 8:32 PM
I see the Republican president is bragging about all the 24 karat gold he put in the Oval Office. This is on the same day that analysts predicted that health insurance rates on the marketplace are predicted to triple.
September 30, 2025 at 2:13 PM
So how’s that Trump economy going? I see he’s trying to take credit for all the Biden infrastructure projects going on right now. So are the DC Republicans who voted against it.
September 23, 2025 at 10:18 PM
If anyone thinks Trump can be appeased, let me tell you something. ABC tried to appease him by settling a frivolous $16 million lawsuit that had no chance in court. Trump used this as proof that ABC engages in hate speech against him and threatened to “go after” their reporters.

I saw those DC Republicans dancing gaily to the Village People after signing their corrupt bill. And I don’t know how I kept myself from vomiting.

The Republican vice president wrote something that I believe all Americans need to hear. He wrote that preserving Medicaid for millions of Americans, and avoiding trillions of dollars in debt to be paid by our kids and grandkids, is “immaterial, compared to the ICE money.”

I heard Senator Warnock speaking on this spending bill the DC Republicans are trying to pass — he said something very insightful: that it shows who matters and who doesn’t in Trump’s America.
I'm speaking on the Senate floor in opposition to the GOP Tax Bill.

This bill is a shameful betrayal of ordinary people.

I refuse to stand by while politicians in Washington slash your health care to give another tax break to billionaires. www.youtube.com/live/2txU8g8...

When I see our elders, in wheelchairs, tied up like criminals for protesting the government theft of their health benefits, which they have paid over decades of labor, yes I’m saddened, and angry.

Trump’s illegal military actions have no stated goals, strategy, nor exit plan. We’ve seen this movie before, and it ends horribly for us every time — Americans dead and wounded, trillions of dollars wasted, higher debt and taxes, and the Middle East even worse off than before.
June 24, 2025 at 6:39 PM
No matter what you think about Iran, or about any other country, it is a violation of our law, a violation of the American Constitution, for the Republican President to commit this country to military action overseas. Only Congress has the power to declare war.

This weekend, a few thousand people showed up to watch a military parade staged for an authoritarian President while millions turned out to say “no, America will not follow this regime into fascism.”

The response from the right was not a change of heart.
