the addition of this new verification system makes Bluesky + ATProto *more* decentralized… not less
- more ways to verify means verification isn’t centralized on one method
- the system is a lexicon, anyone can verify anyone else
- each client/app can choose which verifiers to use/trust

When I was in college I elected to swap all my biology classes with botany. All of my educated pets have been a little surprised by my ignorance of internal anatomy and such. But I think it's a little nice to know where some of my ignorance lies.

11yo’s class had their final D.A.R.E lesson today. Apparently the cops promised ice cream to the class with the most kids wearing D.A.R.E shirts - my kid’s class - and then they just… didn’t give out any ice cream. So thanks, D.A.R.E, for teaching my kid the most vital lesson of all: that cops lie.

The killing of the CEO feels like a riot more than a single vigilante.
