I am a mole and I live in a hole!

It was very fiddley gluing aw the wee teefs back in exactly the right sockets!!

Just had a special visit from @specsowlart.bsky.social, hand-delivering her incredible creations. The wee devil dog is from Hieronymus Bosch's painting 'The Conjurer', and the two little jackdaws are sitting on a piece of jackdaw bone Aliya found. I'm so happy to give these a home.

Cute wee #pheasants on a #pheasant breastbone. I found the bone in South Ayrshire, summer 2021. The wee felties were very delicate to make. The male has shimmering gold and blue "feathers", and the female has cute speckles on her back and wings.

I've made some of these sheep wall hangings before, but this one has a twist - literally! I've made the sheep with curly Wensleydale locks. Herdwick, Hebridean, and Scottish blackface sheep all hanging from a sheep rib I found in Renfrewshire.

This took me so long to make because it made me so emotional. Moroccan uromastyx lizard tail skin. I painted the background many of the colours you can find on uros, in prime paint that dries like scales!

I got the specimen from a pet shop in Ayr

Took one of ma wee @bmxbanditsduglas.bsky.social haggises to see the Everyhing Flows exhibition at Summerlee Museum. Great collection of artefacts, loved seeing aw the zines and stuff, but the presentation was really poor, loads of mistakes, and incoherent sentences. Some weird omissions too.
