I also did a version playing with compositing a few alternate renders on top, including a wireframe render and one where I replaced her with a Marauder and rendered only the emission.

This was I think the first piece I did after I finished the texture work for my OC Rhea. Using that same bright-rim-lights-with-single-volumetric-light-behind setup I used a lot, I played with the facial expressions and did a bunch of variants.

When I do art that shows conflict between my OC and someone else's, I consciously put the other person's OC on at least equal footing, if not an advantage. Feels polite, especially when I make art of those OCs without asking first. Anyway, this is why @jesterdk.bsky.social's Senn is dunking.

Since @jesterdk.bsky.social's I_L is such a lovable innocent dork, I had him not really getting involved in the fight over the ball, instead standing back and cheering on everyone involved.

Vayu on the other hand was meant to have a bunch of holographic shields, which you'll see more of in a later art post. So for him, I wanted to have it look like he was just deploying them too late. Not sure if it really shows though.

I had always envisioned Eris using some sort of jumpjet, as I was playing a ton of Firefall at the time (think Pharah from Overwatch but with jumpjets that are strong enough and last long enough to be satisfying). This iteration used a holographic design that I quickly discarded for a jetpack.
