I've made a racing livery themed around the game Hades II, for a MINI Rallycross car in #Automobilista2

A rallycross MINI Countryman car with a custom made livery for the video game Hades II's 1.0 release on September 25th. Predominantly using dark blue for the night sky and light blue color for mountains on the livery. Hades II, iam8bit, fangamer and Supergiant Games logos used throughout. With the game's artwork used throughout the sides, hood and roof of the car. And with a Supergiant Games' logo at the top of the windshield. This shot looks at the car from above at a slight angle to the side, so the car's roof, hood and left side are visible. The hood has artwork of a crescent moon between tall big mountains. The side of the car has artwork of the game's protagonist Melinoe wielding a staff and her mentor Schelemeus looking on wistfully in the background. Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

I saw some chat about Arc Raiders' use of AI voice actors recently - I'm probably not going to rerecord the talk I gave at EXAG but I thought I'd drop in a few slides about the idea that you can make generative AI ethical by getting people to sign a piece of paper to say you can use their data.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
Credits for Brent Porter (3D art lead) and Catherine Menabde (2D art lead) are shown here. There's a lengthy description of what they did, with a pastiche of various Demonschool characters underneath, messing around with a computer.

Reality is that TGA is designed to honor AAA games and there aren’t AAA puzzle games. It’s kind of like how there’s an “action adventure” category that is designed to keep out indie adventure games that don’t rely on combat.

Very much agree with this. It’s bizarre that TGA has a category for fighting games that it can barely fill with actual new releases every year, but there is no mechanism for honoring either puzzle games or puzzle design. It’s a foundational genre with a booming scene.
