Sometimes, you gotta re-open the abscess and let it drain before the infection can really heal.

That was this chapter.
It’s all rough, but it’s all there, for the group to critique and offer edits.

I’m going to sip some Tension Tamer and remind myself that I’m here, present, and better than ever

lol

not generally, but I do often make faces when they suggest silly things that I *know* they know better to do/say/try.

oh, in the dream, I had a lovely community of massage, acupuncture, yoga, and other body-workers who all had space to practice in the building.

Might need a third floor lol

Being a middle-aged wellness coach was a career I never, in a bazillion years, saw for myself. Now? I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Helping the 🌈Fam feel powerful in their bodies is a deeply fulfilling calling that I’m very, very thankful I was able to hear, and put into practice.

It was a massive pipe-dream of mine, but the more I thought about it, the calmer and more at-peace I felt in my body.

And there are elements to this little wisp of imagination that I can follow through with in my actual life, here and now.

It feels good, even now, to share this here ✨

In this vision, I was not only a coach on the fitness floor, but worked to bring in experts and other conversation-leaders to the center.

The place also served as a community hub for all kinds of organization and political engagement, based on the needs around us.

Weekly ongoing discussion groups for things beyond just our sexual identity.

Eg:

- finding fulfillment beyond the bedroom
- continued uplift of other aspects of the wider 🌈Fam
- what legacy means in our community
- how to honor our history while growing towards the future.

In my mind, I somehow opened a gay men’s wellness center.

First floor: well-equipped gym. top-notch machines, plenty of squat racks, all the things. Lockers/steam/sauna/etc too.

Second floor: *MASSIVE* conversation pit-style meditation/gathering space with all the cozy and comfort one could want.

Turning on the moderation settings here provides me with that beautiful millisecond of “why” before I click “show” on the NSFW-tagged content.

It genuinely is a quiet, beautiful flex (for me) towards better mental health regulation.

The first rush of sharing brings a massive thrill, but that high is harder to achieve the more you do it.

I was fully inure to the images I was sharing and seeing.

Now, I find myself seeking what ELSE I’m capable of doing.

What else brings the good-feels that linger longer than a cigarette buzz?

Happy Birthday :)

I’m going to gently step in as Coach and say that fucking up your back because a part of you *thinks* it won’t be that bad is a *very terrible idea*

Listen to your body (the part below your jawline) and do as it is asking 💖

In the meantime, ensuring your well-fed, rested, and watered is also GOOD
