"My most vivid memories of my school life is Farage repeatedly coming up to me, knowing that I was Jewish, saying 'Hitler was right' and 'gas em' and that was frequently followed by imitating the sound of escaping gas."

Immensely moving share of family tragedy suffered by Otto during Covid..

It resonates as my OH’s aunt who lived alone begged us to come in for tea as we dropped shopping (safe distance & masked). We wavered.. but it wasn’t “safe”

She died suddenly alone a few days later.. meanwhile Tories Partied❗️

Just remembered this post. And realised it has a very different resonance now.

We now know his close friend and ally Nathan Gill was accepting Russian bribes when he posted this

Just brilliant by @thenerve.news - I can just imagine Stewart Lee running around on bypasses snatching flags.

Well done that man.

Just seen the times headline that Margaret Thatcher was alleged to have had 2 affairs. I don’t have a times subscription, so I’m going out on a limb and guessing they come from a group of Airey Neave; Cecil Parkinson; Alan Clark; Ronald Reagan. It’s pretty unthinkable either way. 😧

So much for Tice's claim to have never met Nathan Gill.

It would be terribly unfortunate if this got shared absolutely everywhere.
1/ This speech made by Farage in September 2014, after Russia's first invasion of Ukraine, is a stream of Russian propaganda lies that could have come from Lavrov's mouth.

My prediction is that in that scenario, he blames the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which puts out employment data. Calls them corrupt, run by Democrats, out to get him. Fires people there, insists their numbers cannot be trusted, White House puts out its own fictitious data to make Trump look good

Britain *is* broken.

Brexit broke Britain.

And Nigel Farage is benefitting from the wreckage.

This was always my greatest fear with Brexit - that it would bring about stagnant conditions that favour extreme populism.

Much like drug addiction causes crashes that make the drug more seductive.
2016: Nigel Farage, "The worst case scenario, economically, is better than where we are today"

Reform UK is proposing a "Britannia card" that would let wealthy foreigners pay a £250k fee to move to the UK, and live here exempt from all tax on their foreign assets

What they don't say: it would cost the UK £34bn

Brexit led to 1,500 deaths a year as EU nurses left UK.

Replaced by less experienced or skilled staff, which had a knock-on effect for patients.

Brexit has done immense harm. No impact assessment was provided.

Farage/Reform still doing the same with their nationalist rhetoric.
