They finally counted my ballot. It took a full month for it to get to me overseas and then return to Virginia.

The article that goes with that WaPo/Shar poll is just a glowing endorsement of Abigail's entire political strategy. Independents respect public service and are very concerned about the economy and costs. Abigail is right to dial in on that.

Finally got my absentee ballot!

The past is a foreign country. Back in the 1960s, the 7th district was centered on Winchester and the Shenandoah Valley, with the 6th district based in Roanoke. The 7th slowly shifted into a suburban Richmond seat that was won by Cantor/Brat/Spanberger, before the hard shift to NoVA in 2022.
