I’ve grown quite tired of politicians, prudes, and puritans trying force all of us to be ruled by their personal views.

To be clear, Republicans control the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the White House. They could have passed a budget bill and avoided this Federal government shutdown if they wanted to. They didn’t.
