I'm not a native English speaker, but I have to practice somewhere!
I finally got to see this video, another great job Fritz! Geneviève Bujold is definitely what I liked most about Anne of the Thousand Days and the only reason I would watch that movie again.

I was planning to see Bugonia too, but there were only tickets left in the front row, and frankly I'd rather shoot myself in the ass than watch a movie in the front row.

I'm almost afraid to say "WHAT ELSE?" because life might take it as a challenge...

Anyway, I was saving money for some personal projects next year, but now I'm going to have to spend it on my fucking hair. Oh well.

Not to be dramatic, but sometimes I feel like I'm the one who inherited all the bad things: terrible eyesight, depression, crooked teeth that needed braces and a very expensive operation, and now hair loss!

And I'm queer! Like, pick a goddamn struggle!

It turns out I have genetic hair loss. The weird thing is, no one on either side of my family is bald, so I told the doctor that, and she said that it's possible it skipped one or more generations... MY FUCKING LUCK!

Things that keep me humble: today I had to take the day off to see a specialist because my fucking hair keeps falling out. bsky.app/profile/soyt...
As if I didn't have enough problems, my hair started falling out.

No, I haven't 👀

After Hours? The Scorsese movie? Was she in that one? I don't remember 😱

I've seen Men In Black a thousand times!

Basically 😅
The whole time I kept thinking, “I wish Coppola had directed this movie”.
November 13, 2025 at 11:32 AM
I'm going to have to give this one some time, because despite following the structure of the book, there are things in terms of direction and production that I didn't like.

I just realized, it was because of this movie that Kenneth Branagh cheated on Emma Thompson with Helena Bonham Carter, and Emma and Helena were friends!

Also, I think it makes sense that Helena played Elizabeth Taylor in that movie, they had something in common.

I don't know why Victor Frankenstein was shirtless during the reanimation scene, but I have no complaints. Young Kenneth Branagh, with long hair and a beard, could get it 🥵

I have a terrible memory, I forget everything, but that image of the bride is forever etched in my mind... Also, the moment when the creature told her she was beautiful while caressing her face terrified me and made me want to vomit!

So I want to watch it, to get over a childhood trauma, lol

I have a bit of a history with that movie; when I was little (6 years old, maybe younger) I went to a family gathering. My sisters, some cousins, and I were flipping through channels when someone stopped on that movie, specifically the scene where they revive the bride.

Yeah, the 1946-1949 lineups are very weak, although there are a couple of strong performances in some of them. 1949 is the biggest offender, imo.
November 12, 2025 at 10:57 PM
1947:
1. Joan Crawford - Possessed
2. Susan Hayward - Smash-Up, the Story of a Woman
3. Rosalind Russell - Mourning Becomes Electra
4. Loretta Young - The Farmer's Daughter 🥇
5. Dorothy McGuire - Gentleman's Agreement

Let's just say this is not one of my favorite lineups.
