Did they ever explain the in-universe reason the baby shoes were never worn? I know there are fan theories or whatever but did they ever actually address it in a spin-off? Or are the writers being lazy again 🙄

Dropout is the fuckin best. I worked with them doing a few freelance illustrations and they were incredibly nice, and I still see like a bit of money yearly from the profit share. They’re the real deal!

@dropouttv.bsky.social is legit the best digital production company I’ve worked with for many reason but the biggest one being they’re the only one that actually shares their EOY profits w/ their collaborates. 10/10 company, no notes.

I wonder if younger people realize that there was a time where it was possible to make a full time living being a writer without being at all famous. The need to be famous to be paid is new, and has warped the arts in all sorts of bad ways
The ideal artistic life for me would be just making stuff and no one even knows my name or what I look like and I'm not remotely famous and still can make a living. But that doesn't exist anymore. You have to relentlessly remind people you're a real human being who deserves to be paid for their work
