Often misquoted this is how I feel about @snp.org and why I have chosen to stand for party President.

If elected I will set it right.

In the name of all that is holy what is wrong with Labour in England?

I thought they couldn't surprise me but this is the most batshit idiocy I've ever heard.

I'm not sure if they are malicious or just incompetent but I'm not sure it matters at this point.
Today, the UK government announced a proposal to change copyright law - for the benefit of AI companies - that would cause huge, irreversible harm to creators.

Blended finance isnt working. Public resources dominate & the SDGs remain off track. How do we align public-private finance w/ missions like decarbonization? It’s time to rethink how we structure finance to deliver real impact.

Labour could and should be doing much more. But the UK’s deep economic malaise can’t be fixed in a period of months

Short-termism is a huge problem that results in quick-fixes and silly decisions that will make things even worse (i.e more cuts)

An important lesson when designing an organisation.

In particular Companies Limited by Shares are limited by the legal system that defines them and all have the same faults and vulnerabilities.

They are locusts and we should not be surprised when they consume everything in their path.
I think the lesson we ought to take from Twitter (as well as Facebook, among others) is not "find a better permanent platform with good executives" but "assume all platforms are fragile and ephemeral, and executives are fickle and untrustworthy" www.cnbc.com/2024/11/21/b...
