Me unable to recall a word during a Russian speaking test and resorting to using the English word for it with excessive trill and velarisation.

Me 'fixing' my internal speech's prosody while reading something that didn't make sense to me the first time, hoping that that would make the sentence make sense - but it still didn't. Then reading it out aloud to realise that the sentence isn't grammatical after all.

I've dabbled in statistics for a little over five years at this point (with long breaks in between) and I think it was only earlier this week that I feel I truly grasped the concept of statistical significance and power. It's so wild I love it.
