Anytime I see people trying to discredit Xehanort ending because it’s too “humane” makes me assume they probably don’t understand the scene in general. Xehanort ending works solely because of his humanity and being humiliated.

Finally watched all the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link beta cutscenes now that the game’s been cancelled. What we got was just a tiny slice of the beginning of the story’s first act so it’s not much to go by, but it does make me hope that we’ll get to see this story in some format or another eventually

It’s funny to see people still post about Stella with her sword. Meanwhile the Nameless Star in Verum Rex seems to be portrayed as some kind of mage. Makes me wonder if this is red flag to trick us or if Nomura changed his mind about Stella role.

This is genuinely important because it's a sentiment used to dismiss an entire genre on completely false pretenses. I can argue, successfully, how this doesn't apply to about 90% of JRPGs. But that shouldn't matter because the derogatory framing is unjust, and should be dismissed even if it was true
a youtube video i definitely hope to make someday: really confronting that "all JRPGs end with you killing God with the power of friendship" nonsense. it's fake clever like "is a hot dog a sandwich" but it's clear tons of people genuinely believe it
