Dough is rolled out in strips and then wrapped around a wooden core, covered in sugar or other topping, and then grilled/cooked. After that, one can request from a dozen toppings.

This guy crawled up on our sliding glass door to molt. It was amazing to watch. 5 hours or so from nymph to a brown cicada that flew away.

I was very proud of this bowling score (and amount of marks) given I only bowl about once every 4 years. There was an alley next to my hotel so I decided to kill some time while traveling.

While it's not my favorite coffee, I hear it's quite popular. Isn't Maxwell House an American company (at least, Heinz Kraft owns the rights in the US). Perhaps everyone in the US should just buy coffee grown in the USA (i.e. Hawaii)?

Living in NYC, we like to get outside in vacation. This week we worked all day harvesting olives for olive oil, and Kalamata olives for eating. It was the most exercise I've gotten in years. Feels worse than a 36 hour ICU shift The migrant workers? Didn't break a sweat. @panagis.bsky.social

We've been feeding these strays for years. Names are Diablo, Black and White, Grey, Orange. Not pictured are the pre-teens: Tabby and Calico. Clever names, right?
