Arsenal really beat Madrid home and away and truly were the better team. Can’t believe it. Incredible work from the boys. Huge credit to Arteta. I don’t think all our fans appreciate how solid he has made us.

Arsenal have done it.

They beat Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate, and set up a Champions League semi-final with Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal have played Real Madrid in four games, winning three and drawing one.

They have played two, won two in the Bernabeu.

There was talk of this being a one-window problem when the news broke that Zambia's NWSL players wouldn't travel, but I do not think that's going to be true at all. Barring literally something as dramatic as a coup, this is going to be a major story for U.S. clubs for the foreseeable future.

Declan Rice's brilliant free-kicks were staggering – but Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Real Madrid was about so much more.

From Saka’s levels of performance to Lewis-Skelley’s maturity at 18, this was a true team performance.

What a night, what a performance from this far from 100% team, one of the great European nights at the Emirates.

Declan Rice has produced two of the greatest free kicks you'll ever see at this level, and we 100% deserved that third goal too.

Incredible. This team deserves so much love. #arsenal

The moment Lewis-Skelly hit the Haaland celebration, it was as if Arsenal lost what fear of Manchester City they still had. They were better than the team that had been their yardstick.

Cue Kendrick.

Ethan Nwaneri's goal ended a passing sequence of 36 uninterrupted passes in a move that lasted one minute & 54 seconds and involved every Arsenal outfield player.

It was the longest passing move leading to a Premier League goal since September 2023.

If you're a journalist and someone spits out "DEI" like a slur, and you aren't willing to ask them to say exactly what they mean by that, or you're an editor toning down a clear discussion of how the acronym has been co-opted, you're not up for the job. Find another line of work.
