I agree with Schwarzenegger that we should not be gerrymandering, but I think he is misguided in aiming his efforts against Newsom instead of Abbott and Trump. We need to stop this corruption at the source.

Two more steps are needed. They need to be banned from doing this with other agencies. Then they need to be forced to remove any data they have taken off site and reverse any actions taken.

This matters. Not because I think Trump is capable of mercy or empathy towards these vulnerable groups. But because it is a public act of defiance.

The Trump administration has instructed the FDA, CDC and NIH to pause all external communications. We must fight this. Legal challenges and non-governmental data sources must begin immediately. We can no longer count on the federal government for health care information.

The facts are, the ACA saved millions with pre-existing conditions and set standards for care.
But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, it’s time to take the insurance companies out of the mix.
The subsidies they get are enormous. We don’t need them as middlemen.
