The magnificent Magna Carta, a royal charter of rights agreed to by King John of England on 15 June 1215. It limited the rights of the King by declaring him to be subject to the rule of law. It provided the foundation for individual rights. On display at the British Library #magnacarta

#dinkydoors Miniature sculpture (with doors), lovingly made and hidden just out of plain sight around Cambridge. This one can be seen in Downing Street Cambridge, which mimicks the real and famous one in London. There are many of them, and they represent cute petite portals into other worlds :)

Great symposium today with The British Neuroscience Association🧠and hosted by AstraZeneca @astrazeneca.bsky.social at The Discovery Centre. Amazing talks and speakers, with engaging panel discussion in the 'quest for new medicines to slow the progression of disability in neurodegenerative disorders'

Amazed by evolution and the creatures that preceded us, this one is called Megaloceros giganteus (aka 'Giant Irish Elk'), although they were not elk but deer and not specifically Irish either as their fossil remains have been found in EU and Asia 🤷♀️ but surely giantic (their antlers were 10ft wide!)🫣
