What's happening right now isn't new to people who live in Latin America. Trump only lacks the finesse to do it undercover. Sadly, the Americas have been the US' sphere of influence for a very long time. Partially why Trump threw a fit against Brazil, as our president is pro-multilateralism.

As in dangerous to their freedom and physical health. At least two white German tourists have been detained to date. Standard travel advice right now here in Sweden from authorities is to stay out of the US for your own safety.

The point is that it is actually dangerous for Europeans to travel to the US atm. Especially since you have to give free access to all your social media to enter the country.
