Not that you said it was. Just the bit about seeing how it could be interpreted that way.
I think a lot of people invest a lot of time and energy misunderstanding the concept of toxic masculinity (not saying anybody here is doing so) and this many years in it feels too blatant to take seriously.

But if it’s not one specific thing, then it’s not specifically masculinity. Toxic masculinity is a cultural problem, not a maleness problem.
