In principle I support this. But having read about this last week there are dangers; legality, keeping the moral high ground against the aggressor and leverage in negotiations. When the Russians eventually run out of money, they may want to negotiate, and this would be a huge bargaining chip.
The Liberal Democrats have called on the government to bring forward emergency legislation tomorrow Parliament to begin the seizure of frozen Russian assets and support Ukraine.

In principle I support this. But having read about this last week there are dangers; legality, keeping the moral high ground against the aggressor and leverage in negotiations. When the Russians eventually run out of money, they may want to negotiate, and this would be a huge bargaining chip.
The silver lining on all this is the position this puts the world’s greatest conman in. The majority of his base support will not like him going against Zelenskyy, perhaps it’s the beginning the inevitable end for another charlatan, as usually happens with people such as him.
