The majority of this carbon is eventually going to end up in the soil. The roots are, perhaps obviously, already in the soil, though the scale may be surprising. Some marsh plants grow incredibly dense root masses to remain stable in constantly wet soil.

My biggest ongoing creative project has got to be my custom D&D setting. I've been working at it since 2019, and I get to keep building it as I run games in it. The part I'm proudest of is the pantheon and creation myth I made, and the picture is an abstract representation of the deities!

Every time I've taken this, it's never really gotten it really correct, but I can probably chalk that up to not using most of the local dialect due to homeschooling from a mother from the Philly suburbs (though apparently I don't talk like I'm from there either!)
