What kind of world are we living in where the AAP has to leave the ACIP? The damage the current administration has done to public health is unimaginable.
Today's ACIP meeting is usually a time where experts come together to inform the future of vaccines. That is not what today will be. That is not what we can stand behind. The AAP will continue to recommend its own childhood vaccine schedule -- just as we have since the 1930s

It's unfathomable that a group of people can destroy countless years of research and cripple public health in a matter of weeks.

This is sickening and not at all pro life.
The New York Times is the first to put out comprehensive estimates on the cost of a year without U.S.A.I.D. and they’re higher than I thought:
- 1.65 million deaths from AIDS
- 500,000 from lack of vaccines
- 550,000 from lack of food aid
- 290,000 from malaria
- 310,000 from TB
Killing children is by design, I'm afraid. "Pro-natalists" like Musk claim they aren't racist, but their pressure to have children is solely focused on white women, while they back policies that literally kill of non-white children.

He's a eugenicist.

I love so many things about Utah, but I hate that it has so many horrible people representing it.
Rep. Trevor Lee's bill would ban pride flags in any government building and on any government property, but allow for the flying of Confederate and Nazi flags "temporarily" for "educational purposes."
Nazi flags can fly in Utah school, but not pride flags, GOP lawmaker says
A new bill would allow for Nazi and Confederate flags to be displayed in Utah schools and government buildings, but pride flags would be banned.

I can’t imagine being in their position but I’m grateful for all the federal employees who are stirring up good trouble to combat the bad trouble that is being unlawfully forced on them.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Think firing the entire federal workforce will save America money?

Federal civilian employees account for just 4% of the federal budget. Even if someone like Musk—or any president—fired all of us, it wouldn’t make much of a dent in government spending. Don’t fall for it.

I remember seeing a play about him when I was a teen or a bit younger and his courage was inspiring.
Today would have been the 100th birthday of Latter-day Saint Helmuth Hubener, the youngest dissident every executed (he was 17) in Nazi Germany for exposing Hitler's lies.

Here's the story I wrote about him in October for the anniversary of his execution.

I still find it hard to believe how this is no longer the default assumption of how a candidate should conduct themself anymore.
This was from my daughter's 6th Grade history textbook she used a few years ago. The text in this volume was written in the late 1990s.

Amazing that this statement of historical fact is now not only out of date, but would be considered unacceptably politically biased.
