I understand the sentiment of 'convincing' stakeholders about inclusion and accessibility with legal terms and consequences, but can't a girl just talk about inclusion and diversity of disabled folks as celebrating diversity and humanness of life.

why does everything have to be convincing someone

to all user researchers or gov people: which recruitment agency do you use? are there any 'agencies' that specifically have relationships with minoritised groups?

The best clapback of the week goes to the Mexican president suggesting that the North American continent be known as “América Mexicana” because 'an 1814 founding document that preceded Mexico’s constitution referred to it that way.'

It's terrifying that Trump Americans don't understand how tariffs work & how much harm it's going to cause THEM. And, the scariest of all, 'how many Americans will have the opportunity to hear it in its entirety'?
I have to say, whomever wrote Trudeau's speech yesterday did a good job. Now, the question is, how many Americans will have the opportunity to hear it in its entirety?

I have my doubts that many in the Red states will hear his words unless they go searching for it.

With an increased use of AI on job applications, please please please know that we can tell AI wrote that for you. Unless you're really good at writing prompts which most people aren't. You'd be surprised how our human brains can pick up artificial content so quickly and well.

We're expanding the Service Manual on GOV.UK to all user groups + all service transformation topics.

It needs to be broader to be effective. And gaps to fill include leadership, sustainability, continuous improvement when live...

Help keep it up to date: www.gov.uk/service-manu...

genuinely the worst part about being a user researcher is that you have to listen to yourself many many times and have to control your urge to beat yourself up for asking leading questions or not asking good follow up questions.
