@kamalaharris.com, whom Bill Maher has repeatedly & viciously attacked, has always said that people have a responsibility to remember the concerns of those who aren't in the room. Given Bill Maher's track record, it's not surprising he didn't listen to her.

Here is what Bill Maher is not: a person of color, a woman, gay, trans, an immigrant, Muslim, on Social Security and Medicare, disabled, a member of the working class. So it’s no wonder he can jet to the WH and find Donald Trump so fucking ‘charming’ and ‘real’. Sickening…

Trump exempting computers & phones from the tariffs today means that Chinese-made laptops now have lower tariffs than European Cars, Mexican Steel, & Canadian Lumber.

Also means Vietnamese-made laptops have a lower tariff than Ethiopian coffee, Indian tea, & Guatemalan bananas

Senate Armed Services Chairman Roger Wicker says Vladimir Putin can't be trusted & should be jailed for life "if not executed." This guy's a Republican. I find it hard to imagine how Moscow could ever see Washington as a reliable negotiating partner, knowing this sentiment might reign again by 2028.

Must-read piece. Europe cannot afford to be the chorus in a Greek tragedy, wringing its hands on the edge of the stage while horrors unfold elsewhere. Ukraine’s success is a vital interest for European countries, including the UK. They need to act, not wait for Trump to harm their interests.
Ukraine will fight, no matter how many Russian lies Trump repeats.

Here’s what we, in Europe should do to help them, and defend ourselves.

There’s no time to waste.
