For my fellow Longford-Westmeath voters ahead of #GE24 tomorrow..

I'm way more excited for the election tomorrow than I am for the Toy Show, to the point where I actually forgot it was on the same day.

Fuck sake why are cinema tickets to see Wicked €15 each? There's 'standard' tickets available for €12 but only for the afternoon screenings

My phone updated last night and I hate it

Deciding to organize a birthday night out for myself in Dublin in December sort of last minute is going to prove stressful isn’t it? 🥲

Jesus does everyone in America buy their turkey frozen? Seeing nothing but posts about defrosting it

Instead of watching the debate last night I made a playlist of all my favourite songs from musicals.
Can confirm it was much better for my mental health.

Having one of those days in work where every task I complete turns into 3 more complicated tasks and nothing is getting cleared

Looking at the Sculpted by Aimee email for Black Friday and though wow ok 30% off is a decent amount. Dearest gentle reader you've to buy FOUR FULL SIZE products to get the discount!

I've a doctors appointment for the 6th of January and I've suddenly realised what a bad omen that might be.. trying very hard to associate it with Nollaig na mBan and not The Other Thing.

Latest forecast for #GE2024 polling day Friday is band of rain crossing country and very breezy but rain should mainly clear East for the after work rush in evening. Remember regardless of who you vote for it is important to vote. We want a big turnout.

The most stressed out I've ever been about Christmas was when I was 16 and I got my first ever job, working at M&S in Dundrum. As soon as I started I kept hearing these myths about the Christmas Eve Waste Sale, where all the food that wasn't sold on the 24th was marked down 90%.

Struggling to decide how I want to spend my birthday this year. Not sure if I should head home to go for lunch with my Mam on the Thursday or hang around Dublin to take a dance class to a Britney song..

The only Christmas music I'll listen to before December 1st is Sabrina Carpenter's Fruitcake

That unfollow Conor McGregor post has been shared so much which is great but I’ve noticed it’s mostly women doing the sharing. Exhausting to constantly scream and badger men for support on these things and then some can’t/won’t even share a post.

Book lovers - what should I be asking for for Christmas? I like fiction by female and Irish writers where possible, any recommendations that aren't the Normal writers?

Went home to my parents yesterday, pet the dog, talked shit with my Mam, had a massive Indian takeaway, took my Dad to see Gladiator. Had a fry this morning and did some obligatory tech stuff involving the printer.. honestly feel so content and grateful right now

After setting up my account here and deciding I’d probably delete Twitter soon, I’ve accidentally posted something that’s now doing numbers and attracting the worst people in the replies 🙈

One thing I've noticed here compared to the other app is there's so much more to read! My feed isn't cluttered up with crappy videos I don't want to watch

✨Little reminder that Aontu exists because Peadar Tóibín resigned from Sinn Fein because of its support for Repeal. They want to seriously curtail women’s access to abortion, and would overturn repeal if they could.✨
