i feel somehow obligated to post a clip of most of the opening scene of Kabukimonogatari, where Ougi discusses the meaning of stop lights with Araragi, as a metaphor for how people aren't sufficiently cynical about the world

we do respect in theory the concept of trying to avoid sounding like a weeb when translating, but the problem with that is that the monogatari series is fundamentally otaku media, the characters constantly make otaku culture references, they *should* sound like weebs you know!

Of course delightfully apt that when you have no clocking issues; the FPGA toolchain says your design passes (passes timing analysis, that is).
