A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

Lisa Loeb hits #1 with “Stay (I Missed You) 31 years ago today.

She’d been working as a temp at Ernst & Young when her friend Ethan Hawke brought the song to @benstiller.redhour.com, who used it in “Reality Bites.”

It remains the only #1 hit by an artist who was not already signed to a label.

Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers.

(Eek! Missed a few days.)

Standing for 10 minutes so that you can manufacture applause doesn't make anyone suddenly happy that you won. We see it for what it is. A ploy to shut people up. Not happening. He still sucks. And no, he didn't deserve it.

I don't know why people don't know this!
A reminder: Tariffs are a regressive tax that drives up prices on everyday goods. They disproportionately hurt the working class and poor who bear the brunt of higher costs while wealthier consumers feel significantly less impact.

Right wing “Christians” are attacking bishops who call for mercy, defending or giving Nazi salutes, and giddily cheering for deportations, all while continuing to pretend that THEY are the ones who are being persecuted.

Damn them all to Hell.

Incredibly powerful. Gonna miss Jim.
Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

We have to figure out how to end these people. They need to be on an island with their citizenship revoked. Tell me there was nothing to worry about again, you absolute wastes of space.
Intelligence officials are starting to leak to me now too. Here’s a memo Defense Intelligence Agency personnel received instructing them to suspend observances including:
- Holocaust Remembrance Day
- MLK Day
- Juneteenth

That's the thing. They scream DEI how because they are not qualified for the job and are angry, they aren't just given what they want. Entitled pieces of excrement if you ask me.
The same people wailing about DEI literally can’t spell their own job title.
