I am trying to look at other forms of decoration in the Iron Age beyond the fancy metalwork.
Today, I’ve been looking at these cheek pieces in the collection at MAA from a Late Iron Age grave at Snailwell. Terrible image (my own), but they are beautifully decorated and show signs of wear

Much like this - I don’t know if I’m slowly decaying into leaf litter or a slow work In progress - but it’s exciting to think ( hope !) while I learn to use it that maybe this is a positive place to move house to? Somewhere we can post breakfast again and escape the billionaires?? Xxx
