Meanwhile, in the stands at last night’s SAFC game I had to listen to one STM make racist comments about players wanting green cards, not yellow cards, and my section devolve into more Eh, P*** chants as the season progresses. 🤦🏼♀️
They just had a naturalization ceremony on the pitch before tonight’s @newmexicoutd.bsky.social game. Me, a grown ass man, weeping in the stands in happiness for the people who still want to become a part of this country. Shouted the “all enemies, foreign and domestic” part of the oath with them.

Urging FIFA, who has no Bsky presence (!) to reconsider this mistake. Soccer media coverage in the gigantic USA relies on independent journalists & photographers to help grow the game & ensure wider coverage. Allow our independents w proven track records to hold FIFA WC26 media credentials! ⚽
So apparently FIFA looks down on people who have 9-5 jobs. This is absolutely ridiculous. Why does it matter? Does me taking photos for Copa America and the whole list of other tournaments while working a 9-5 make me less than a professional photographer?
