As a lifelong SNL dork I’m very stoked to check out The Return of the Blues Brothers from Luke Pisano, Stella Aykroyd, James Werner, @sobreiro.bsky.social, @gabcontrerasr.bsky.social, & Troy Peteri.

Truly love Felipe’s style so damn much. I’m sure this is going to be such a fun read!

New article up on the blog! Malevolent is a new sci-fi horror series about humanity facing the aftermath of opening the gates of Hell, and a weapon that might be as dangerous as the demons themselves. Read more on the blog 😈 @bivensjohn.bsky.social @sobreiro.bsky.social

I know a lot is going on, but I would really appreciate a share. I'm still waiting on a check and I'm wrapping up the rest of my small gigs this week. If you need any art and you like what I do, please consider contacting me. I'd like to think my budget is reasonable, and I put out some good art
Hey, I'm going to be honest, I've had some rotten luck these last couple months. About three different projects got cancelled, so, if you need covers, pages, posters, album art, and you like my style, please consider hiring me.

Nathan Rabin is our nation's greatest chronicler of startlingly ill-conceived movies. I imagine there will be a lot of those in in this one! (Maybe some well-conceived ones, too?)
It took me twice as long as anticipated, but I finally finished The Fractured Mirror, a 548-page exploration of the complete history of American movies about filmmaking, with a foreword by the great Joe Dante and illustrations by the also great Felipe Sobreiro www.nathanrabin.com/happy-place/...

I’ve never been to California despite wanting to go - but I’ll start planning now that the Lucas Museum is finally opening next September:

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
