Sounds like when the Nazis exacted a higher price per Nazi life by killing 10 Jews for every Nazi killed. 😏

Hope someone just leaves it somewhere….

Well that shouldn’t take long - walk in the door, acknowledge you don’t want Americans to have affordable healthcare and walk out. Session over. They’ve been doing this for the last 15 years.

AND there you have it! Dec 2nd is Election Day in TN district 7 - if Republican wins he’ll be sworn in right away. This will push the discharge petition requirement to 219 signatures. How much would you like to bet this new guy would not sign…? That means 218 signatures are not enough…

Well of course he did!

Risk it - send it back. Once it’s in the bill they won’t repeal it.

You could equally ask the GOP that question.

Honestly - there was a reason he permitted her swearing in. He already had a plan to prevent the release of the Epstein files. Just was waiting to see what it was. Those files will never be released with Johnson’s help.

Yeah I’m not taking the ‘asked him to stop’ as meaning it exonerates him. If anything I think it’s more likely he asked her to stop 1) poaching or 2) temporarily because things were getting hot.

Heh @shaheen.senate.gov , why does your bill have a provision in it allowing only 8 GOP senators to sue the federal govt because they don't like the DOJ investigating them? What problem facing the country does this provision solve? How is it a "bipartisan" solution when only GOP senators can sue?
