Congratulations to the team on this very exciting work!!
Excited to share our new work in PDAC Cachexia. This work demonstrated that addition of factors like advanced age in murine models can uncover signatures that might have been obscured in other models.

Had the best week at TREC learning about research gaps in energy balance and cancer and connecting with all of the early career fellows and faculty involved in the program.
Cachexia representation at the NCI TREC Workshop!
A week of interdisciplinary discussions and fun amongst early career researchers. Highly recommend!

Few studies measure body composition in patients with lung cancer over time; 32 to be exact. I reviewed their findings. Pro: we know muscle loss occurs and intramuscular fat increases. Cons: we know very little about women and changes in fat journals.physiology.org/doi/abs/10.1...
