Mud season sucks...😩

One of my coworkers was in an evacuation zone. It was so hectic here for a few days!

Some photos from my hometown. 1st is the river near us (we have elevation and were not at risk, but some roads near us were) 2nd is downtown.

It's more than clutter, it's 6 months worth of putting it off.

Now that FIL has passed I feel like I can once again focus my energy into household chores. I feel like I can breathe again and I'm not buried in the overwhelming weight of literally everything.

I unfortunately had a horrid asthma attack. I'm not sure how much longer I can help Wes with his rabbits. :(

We don't expect to have him much longer, and I'm surprised he has lasted as long as he has. I suspect he may be waiting for us to be away.

He never wanted to inconvenience anyone or be a burden. That's just who he is.

We know for sure his cancer has spread more into his bones and they also found a node on his right lung.

He recognized me when I got there but within 15mins of me arriving he was incoherent and out of it.

It was hard trying to support both Jer and my MIL. 🥺 2/2

This man, while technically Jer's grandpa, raised him. They've done everything together Jeremy's entire life.

This is going to gut Jer in ways neither of us are prepared for.

Please think of us this Holiday season. Things are not well in our house. 💔

On top of the house stuff, we are still taking care of my FIl who we cant get into hospice because we cant get his doctor to return a phone call to discuss it. Hospice won't take him until he is officially no longer receiving cancer treatments.

At least the boys can still experience a magical Holiday despite our house being very unholly-jolly. We will help my mom decorate her tree.
